Luminoso paesaggio di campagna di piccole dimensioni proveniente da una collezione di dipinti spagnoli che abbiamo acquistato di recente.
Opera del pittore ed antiquario spagnolo José Antonio Herranz, attivo durante la seconda metà del 900 a Madrid, per decenni titolare di un negozio al Rastro (il mercato dell antiquariato locale) e raffinato paesaggista di gusto impressionista.
La luce intensa, colori accesi, ed una garbata visione del mondo spesso ricca di fiori, sono i tratti distintivi dei suoi dipinti. Influenzato dalla pittura spagnola del 900 capeggiata da Sorolla, José Herranz è stato un raffinato e delicato pittore poco conosciuto ma di grande profondità .

by José Antonio Herranz, spanish painter and antique dealer active during the second half of the 20th century. Working at the Rastro the local flea marked in the city center, he was also a fine landscape painter.
Bright light, brilliant colors and a delicate vision of the world, often rich of flowers, were his trademarks. As many spanish painters of the 20th century, he was influenced by Sorolla, José Herranz spent his life selling antiques and painting for passion, he was not very famous but his works are testimony of a delicate and creative soul.
